A clean single-wall mug

This is a single-wall mug, not a vacuum flask. The metal tells you the temperature in your hand, which is what you want at the breakfast table. The looped handle stays cool enough to lift. The rim is rolled so it does not cut. Mirror-polished inside and out, it wipes clean after chai and does not hold yesterday's smell.

AISI 201 stainless steel

Pasban stamps AISI 201 on the base. That is manganese-alloyed stainless, the grade we press for Pakistani kitchens — hard, bright, and honest about what it is. Boiling doodh patti, Kashmiri chai, black tea, or a glass of water from the fridge: this mug takes the lot. Dishwasher safe, top or bottom rack.
